Product Ideas: I think very thin cork inserts. Some high end shoe stores give them for free and I think you should sell them in packages of say 5 pair for 10$ They keep your foot from sliding around in a dress shoe when you are wearing stockings. Women do still wear peds in the summer and tights in the winter as example. Cork inserts solve a problem most women probably don’t understand which is that their foot is jamming slightly forward in the toe box as they walk. You need a very well fitting dress shoe to keep enough toe room but not let your foot do this. Cork inserts help a lot
Nice insert without taking room

I use these all the time and they are the best. They solve the main issue of inserts being too thick at the heal and therefore lift your foot out of the shoe they cradle your heal and provide arch support. The way they allow your heal to actually sit in the heal bed is brilliant. I have two pairs and I switch them to whatever shoes I wear for the day. My custom orthotics lifted my heal out of the shoe too much even the dress ones that are 3/4 length. These work much much much better. I wear around 8.5. Sometimes 8 and generally a 9 in boots and I found the size 9 fit my arches best. I have narrow feet and these really help so much also adding a bit of volume to the shoes. As a side note. If you are going to wear a shoe with a stocking or socks. Very thin cork inserts will keep your foot slipping forward and smashing your toes against the toe box of the shoe. As for inserts these are tops for what they are designed to do
