Jute is a 100% biodegradable, naturally sustainable material that requires no irrigation to grow, absorbs carbon dioxide, and releases oxygen back into the environment — one of the most responsible materials in footwear, and the golden fiber at the heart of every Toni Pons espadrille. At 5 cm total height — 3 cm in the heel and 2 cm of platform at the forefoot — the Aura's wedge provides a flattering, leg-lengthening lift that keeps the sandal elegantly proportioned while maintaining the balance and stability of a well-designed medium wedge. The EVA rubber ridged outsole is the Light & Flex collection's signature sole — lightweight, flexible, and ridged for excellent traction across a variety of surfaces — keeping every step feeling grounded, comfortable, and sure-footed throughout the day.
