If you love the classic Arizona but want a little more cushioning underfoot from the very first wear, this is the one. The Soft Footbed version takes the same timeless two-strap silhouette and genuine suede leather upper and adds an integrated latex foam cushion layer to the footbed — delivering a noticeably plusher, more immediate comfort that doesn't require a break-in period to appreciate.

The upper is crafted from classic suede leather — a split leather with a soft, velvety napped finish that is naturally supple and flexible, conforming gently to the foot over time. A suede footbed lining extends that softness underfoot, while a natural leather insole adds structure beneath the cushioned footbed.

That footbed is where this version earns its name. Built on Birkenstock's legendary cork-latex contoured base — made in Germany — it features an additional latex foam cushion that provides excellent comfort right out of the box, while still delivering the full suite of anatomical support Birkenstock is known for. A deep heel cup holds the heel in its natural position, interior and exterior arch supports cradle both sides of the foot, a transverse arch support stabilizes the metatarsal bones, and raised toe grips allow natural toe movement with every step. A flexible, lightweight EVA outsole rounds out the construction underfoot.

Two adjustable metal pin-buckle straps let you personalize the fit throughout the day.
