The Arizona Shearling is crafted from classic suede, a naturally soft, napped leather with the velvety surface that has defined Birkenstock’s most loved styles. That softness carries through to the inside of the shoe. Both adjustable straps are lined in genuine shearling, a high-quality sheep or lambskin that is warm, breathable, and temperature-regulating, so the straps feel as cozy against the foot as the footbed does. Metal pin buckles let you customize the fit across the instep and forefoot. The Arizona Shearling is built on the original Birkenstock contoured cork-latex footbed, now fully lined in genuine shearling for a soft, supportive landing with every step. The deep heel cup holds the heel bone firmly in its natural position. Interior and exterior longitudinal arch supports stabilize the tarsal bones, the transverse arch support stabilizes the metatarsal bones, and raised toe grip indentations keep the toes loose and spread in their natural position. Over time the cork-latex footbed molds to the wearer’s individual foot for a truly personalized fit. The flexible EVA sole is lightweight, elastic, and extremely cushioning, smoothing out slight irregularities in the floor so every step is softly cushioned. Made in Germany.
