The reason I just got a neew pair: I am disabled and I would rather have these on than off. After years when they were no longer "presentalbe" I wore them as "boat shoes" at the lake and when they were really muddy, I actually washed them in the washer. I still wear them every single day. Saving my new ones "for good." lol

I first bought these shoes in Hong Kong several years ago. They have lasted throughout and still look very good. As I wore them through many rainstorms, they held up very well. Unfortunately, with so much exposure to wet conditions, black dye started leaching through my socks and onto my feet. I returned to the USA permanently and researched this shoe. I was thrilled to find them! They arrived and fit perfectly. I expect to get many more years of wear.
