I loved the look of this shoe. It was a very comfortable shoe except the back of the shoe was cut too high and hit the back of my leg as I walked. I had to return them for this reason.
I am so in love with this shoe, its cute, edgy and so comfortable, I feel like I am walking on clouds, Seriously. its a must-have and I rarely write reviews. First time ordered from this store and they have a lifetime customer now. They have shoes that are of great quality and very European, Which I love.
I ordered during the Pandemic outbreak and I got my order within days, What I loved were the personalized shipping notifications and the quick delivery.
Love Love Love!
When the sales associate handed me a foot of the bright blue/black shoe, it struck me as a statement shoe - one designed to bring immediate attention to the wearer. It certainly is that and a as lot more. I tried it on and immediately fell in love with the lush comfort and “unbearable lightness of being” one gets from walking in shoes that are a perfect fit in length and width. My feet are wider in the toe box but with a narrower heel. The Arche Barway caresses my entire foot with no pressure points, uncomfortable seams, or pinched portions. I wore them for 10 hours on the first day and forgot I had shoes on my feet. That is the true test of perfection and the Barway passed it with flying colors. Plus, they’re really cool looking shoes.
I bought these in the black and red because I like that pop of color. Like all Arche shoes, the leathers are a TINY bit snug at first. The uppers will stretch 5-10%, so make sure you allow for that when you purchase them. It takes almost no time at all to "break them in". I bought mine, then wore them to work the next day and they're so light and comfy, I forgot I even had them on.
Arche prices may seem a bit steep, but when you get the perfect pair of shoes that are better than barefoot and you wear them all the time, the cost per wear is really low, and they're worth it. I have a similar pair I bought about 5-6 years ago (no zipper) and they're still in amazing shape. I think they're worth the extra money.
